For the last 20 years, I’ve had very poor control of my bladder and bowels. I’ve been to multiple doctors. No one seemed to be able to help me. I’ve been working with Lori Blondell for two months now and I’m 75% better. It’s like a miracle. I am so pleased I’d recommend her to anyone. How

Lori is truly the best! She helped me recover from a fissure postpartum and helped me prepare for my second pregnancy. She educated me every step of the way and went above and beyond to help me heal, get stronger and prepare for my second delivery. I highly recommend Lori to any moms who may be suffering from a fissure or to those who need help with strengthening their pelvic floor during their pregnancy/postpartum journey.

I was a little nervous and didn’t know what to expect seeing a pelvic floor specialist. Dr Lori Blondell has made me feel so comfortable and explains things extremely well. In just a few short weeks between my visits with her and the exercises she has me do at home , I’m seeing such a difference. I’m so thankful to have found her.

If there was a way to give 10 stars , I would easily do that!
When deciding to move to Florida last year, a nagging reality kept appearing in my head. Since I was in Pelvic Floor Therapy for FOUR years in Alabama, I would have to start all over again with a new therapist. After countless doctors, tests, blocks, procedures and pelvic floor therapists without much success, who would possibly be able to help me. Then while doing some research online, I found Dr. Lori Blondell. I liked that she is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and had some very great reviews, so I reached out to her. To make a very long, detailed story short, Dr. Lori Blondell has done more for me in the past six months than many others did in four years. Not to downgrade other physicians work. They tried to do what they knew to do. and I appreciate that. Dr. Blondell is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about not only her medicine but her patients. She is extremely caring, calming, non-judgement and an extremely good listener. She should add psychologist to her many awesome traits. If you need a Pelvic Floor Therapist who knows her stuff and are near the Bradenton/Sarasota area, your search should end with Dr. Lori Blondell!

Dr. Lori is more than a pelvic floor PT. she’s family. I’ve been seeing her since I was about 28 weeks (give or take) pregnant and had weekly sessions right up until my baby was born. Not only is she an amazing support, but she also knows how to keep you feeling calm and relaxed in a time that’s very vulnerable for most people. She taught me pushing techniques, stretches, breathing techniques, and so much more invaluable information for the birth of my baby. She also helped me manage severe hip and pelvic girdle pain that was so debilitating I hardly could stand it. After a session with her— I would feel instant relief. It made the end of my pregnancy so much better.
Now that my baby is here— I can say that all my work with Dr. Lori paid off! She prevented SO much pain and potential problems both before and during labor.
Could not recommend her enough for those going through pregnancy. And I will definitely be back once I’m cleared!

I am a first time mom and when I was discharged from the hospital, I had sciatica like symptoms and chronic pain from my Lumbar Spondylosis. My husband had to carry me up the stairs. I couldn’t walk. My first visit was to the chiropractor. Bad choice. It was divine providence that I called Lori two weeks postpartum and she identified my pelvic floor dysfunction and the severe tightness in my pelvic floor tissue. Lori created a custom treatment plan for my pelvic floor and gave me a reason to believe in my body again. I was back walking in 3 weeks, attributed to the therapy sessions with my pelvic floor. As I continue to heal, I’ve learned how to strengthen my pelvic floor. Lori is patient and exceptional at what she does. If you are pregnant or postpartum, please see Lori. She changed my life. She will change yours as well.

Dr. Lori was exceptional throughout my rehab journey. She provided unwavering support, expert guidance, and truly listened to my concerns. Even when she identified an issue outside her scope, she went above and beyond to ensure I got the right care. Highly recommend her dedication and professionalism

I would highly recommend Dr Blondell for her pelvic floor physical therapy services. I am a prostate cancer survivor and had a prostatectomy over 10 years ago. Urinary incontinence was my issue. Dr Blondell helped me understand and have better control of the muscle layers of the pelvic floor.

Pelvic floor therapy with Dr. Lori Blondell has changed the quality of life for me. No more pads lining my underwear; no more leaks after coughing or sneezing, nor after lifting something heavy or tripping; no more urgently running to the bathroom. There are three layers of muscle involved and she coached me to strengthen them to the point my bladder is lifted properly and even if I had a lot of fluid, I can hold it and walk to the bathroom. Dr. Lori Blondell has state of the art equipment and training, and while new here in Sarasota, many years of experience up north working with athletes through elders. Her sparkling personality, honesty and coaching style are so inspiring. And, she takes Medicare and is on time for appointments. I heartily agree with my gynecologist who recommended Dr. Lori Blondell and wish I hadn't waited 3 years to do so. If you're uncertain, just book for an evaluation to get her guidance on what is possible for you.

I came to Dr Lori because I was having leakage and also having urgency with regard to my bladder. I have been seeing Dr. Lori for over 2 months and I am thrilled with my progress. I am now able to hold my urine and not have any leaks or any panicking issues. My body feels much stronger and I am much more confident and happy. When I came to Dr. Lori she told me she couldn’t reduce the prolapse that I had but she could help prevent it from getting worse but she has be able to reduce the prolapse and it feels wonderful. I was told I would need to have surgery to solve my particular problem but I am so delighted that I chose to take the advise of my GP and not the surgeon .I am vey happy with my progress and will continue working the steps and exercises she has given me . Dr. Lori has been extremely professional and kind and has “generous bedside manner . I have recommended her to several friends. Thank you.

Lori is the best pelvic floor PT in Sarasota! She is knowledgeable, personable, and knows how to put patients at ease when discussing very private medical problems. Lori uses so many different approaches and creates great overarching plans that are feasible and work with each specific patient’s physical abilities and lifestyle. I was helped for my hypertonic pelvic floor where I would have tight muscles that couldn’t relax and caused pain with intercourse, for several months and every few weeks I would feel my progress and see results. This issue is quite common and doesn’t just affect women and men around my age (24), but also people who are middle-aged and older too. I would highly recommend Lori as a specialist!

Lori Blondel literally saved my life. I started having bladder spasms in September 2023. The thing is I did not know what was causing the pain. I went from Dr to Dr to Dr. No one could help me. I was in excruciating pain. I really thought I was going to die because I had never experienced such agony. I didn’t think I could live much more with this pain… It went on for over two months, every day. I finally got Lori‘s phone number from a friend of a friend. It was like a miracle. She is very knowledgeable and had such an expertise in diagnosing me. She knew exactly what was wrong. I was out of that intensive pain in 2 days!
As a bonus, Lori has the BEST personality and always makes sure you are comfortable!
